Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters,
Masjid Khadija will be open for regular prayers starting from 14 May 2020 Thursday in line with the Govt. and Ulama Council of New Zealand decision to allow the mosques to open to public with a condition of not allowing any gathering of more than 10 people at a time during the lockdown Level 2.
This is a trial to see the feasibility of keeping the mosque open during the Level 2 period, thus the cooperation is very much required from the Muslim community of Rototuna to follow the rules as outlined below:
• No more than 10 people at a time (first come first serve)
• Leave as soon as prayer finishes
• Keep high hygiene standards
• On arrival, register your name and time on the Attendance List provided
• Maintain physical distancing (Musallies 1 metre apart)
• No handshakes or hugs
• Bring your own mat
• Have Wudhu at home
Please DO NOT COME to the Masjid if you have any flu, COVID-19 symptoms or if you need to be in isolation for any reason.
Jumma (10 people each) starts at 12:30pm, finishes at 12:45pm.
Second Jumma starts at 1:00pm, finishes at 1:15pm
Eid prayer will be conducted on Eid day IA (10 people only). More details will be announced in due time. Jazakom Allah Khairan
Dr. Bahr
