Dr. Mohammad Bahr

Project Director & Trustee of Khadija Charitable Trust

I was born and trained in Egypt, finished medical school 1986 then did a cardiology degree and straight after moved to Dubai for few years then came to New Zealand to work in Waikato hospital, then moved to become a general practitioner. I enjoy medicine, my hobbies are swimming and nature, I also enjoy hiking and reading. I'm a father of 6 children and 3 grandchildren.

Dr. Abdul-Kader Ebrahim

Secretary and Trustee of Khadija Charitable Trust

I am an ENT/Head-Neck Surgeon based at the Waikato DHB and Southern Cross Hospital. In 2011, I completed my specialist degree in Cape Town, South Africa, and thereafter I completed a head-neck cancer fellowship in Brisbane, Australia. I returned to South Africa in 2014 to be Head of Clinical Unit in one of Cape Town’s largest academic hospitals. I emigrated to NZ with my wife and 3 children in 2017 and have lived in Hamilton since then. I enjoy working in a team and have experience in key leadership positions which involved multiple disciplines. I am passionate about community outreach and participating in activities that will improve social cohesion. It is an honor and privilege to be serving the Hamilton community in trying to make this project a success.

Syed Mujeebullah Hussainborn in Hyderabad Indian living in New Zealand from the last 20 years. Working in Retail Management having two children.

Dr. Gohar Khan

Digital Assets Lead

I am an academic by profession with more than 15 years of experience in digital technologies teaching, consultancy, and research working with multicultural teams. Currently, I am a senior in the digital business at Waikato Management School where I teach and research digital technologies. I have work experience in multi-cultural settings and have closely observed different cultures (e.g., Western and Asian cultures) in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

Hossam Elwakil

Event Management Lead

Hossam is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of project management experience. He brings to the team a wealth of knowledge in the essential areas of project integration, planning, and risk management. Originally from Egypt, he moved to New Zealand in 2002 with his wife and two sons, who are currently studying at the Waikato and Auckland universities.

Tanzeev Haque

Public Relations & Communications Lead

Chemical engineer, passionate about community development works and believes that effective da'wah is won through serving others, leaving the community in a better environment than how he entered it. Born and raised in Bangladesh, moved to Hamilton in 2018. Involved with different community organizations i.e. TEDxRuakura, Go Eco, English Language Partners based in Hamilton. 

Muhammad Cajee

Finance and Legal Lead

I have been living in Hamilton NZ since early 2016. My background is in financial advisory and consulting, having gained most of my professional experience supporting businesses execute strategies linked to mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and related disciplines. I am privileged and humbled to have the opportunity to support the RICC team. One of our key objectives (from a finance team perspective) is creating an environment of strong financial controls and processes to facilitate the success of RICC's projects, insha Allah.
